Leave from the port of the fishing village of Trou d'Eau Douce and let a speedboat carry you across the largest lagoon in Mauritius, straight to the Grand River South East waterfalls.

Admire the waterfalls from the water, then ease into calm, turquoise water for a swim you will remember.

Next comes Ile aux Cerfs: a delicious beach BBQ on the south coast, then a visit to the north coast, famous for its white sandy beaches and shallow lagoon. After lunch, the island is yours to enjoy exactly as you like. With a maximum of 8 guests on board, the boat stays small and personal.

Getting there

Your day starts from your accommodation, and the speedboat leaves from the port of Trou d'Eau Douce. Transport is not included in the excursion price, but you can add a private return transfer in the Extras section when you book:

Price policy

0 to 2 years old: the excursion is free of charge
3 to 9 years old: child rate applies
10 years old and above: adult rate applies

Transportation

Transportation is not included in the excursion price. Rates exclude transfer, and you can add a private return transfer in the Extras section when you book.

Waiting time and delays: Transfer arrangements are based on the confirmed excursion schedule and expected service duration. If additional waiting time is required due to circumstances beyond the control of Etnika Travel and its driver, an additional charge may apply. This may include:

Extended activity duration
Late departure by guests
Delays at the excursion venue
Traffic conditions or other unforeseen circumstances

Cancellation policy

If the excursion is cancelled by the local authorities or because of weather conditions, it will be rescheduled for the following days or replaced by another tour. If bad weather persists, you will be refunded the entire amount before your departure.

If you cancel

7 days before the excursion date: 100% refund
72 hours before the excursion date: cancellation penalty of 75% of the cost of the excursion
Less than 72 hours before: cancellation penalty of 100% of the cost of the excursion
Day of the excursion or no-show: cancellation penalty of 100% of the cost of the excursion

Maximum 8 persons per excursion
Full payment is due upon confirmation of booking, and an invoice will be sent accordingly
All banking charges are paid by the client
If payment is not received before the excursion date (conditions apply), the booking will be invalid
