A day of adventure for the whole family
Casela World of Adventures sits in the vibrant western part of Mauritius and promises a wholesome, fun-filled day for the whole family, honeymooners and groups. Add a private return transfer when you book, and arrive ready to play.
There is a heart-throbbing choice of adventures: an African safari, unique encounters with big cats, an electric Eco Rider safari and the island's only dry toboggan. You can feed the giraffes and the colourful lorikeets, and even meet the pygmy hippo.
The park keeps adding new activities, so there is always something new to discover.
Good to know
A park of 350 hectares: Casela spreads over 350 hectares of the west coast and offers more than thirty activities.
A toboggan with a story: the Tulawaka is inspired by the gold-mine carts of Tanzania, and its circuit runs for 760 metres.
Ella and Benji: the park's two southern white rhinos are known as playful and friendly.
Animal welfare first: Casela says that every decision follows the Five Domains framework for animal welfare promoted by the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

Important information
Activities should be chosen according to each participant's age, height, weight and physical ability.
Certain activities have specific minimum age, minimum height or maximum weight restrictions, and the park may refuse participation if they are not met.
Participants must follow all safety instructions from the Casela team before and during each activity.
Most activities in the predator kingdom are held in English or French. We recommend choosing your activities in advance, so we can plan your day around them.
Lunch options (optional extra)
Make lunch part of the adventure. Choose from seven menus prepared by the park, each with a starter, a main course, a dessert and drinks. Lunch is not included in the excursion price, and is added in the Extras section when you book. Every menu comes with a 500 ml bottle of water and one soft drink.
Mauritian: the taste of the island
Golden fritters, slow-cooked curries and sweet flambéed banana.
Start with a platter of crispy Mauritian gajacks: cheese samosa, chilli bites and eggplant fritters. Then choose a Mauritian-style chicken curry, a fish rougaille or a vegetable curry, served with fluffy steamed rice, lentil fricassée and tangy achards. Finish with a flambéed banana and vanilla ice cream.
Indian: warm spices and saffron rice
A comforting classic, with a fresh finish.
Begin with crispy vegetable pakora and a bright coriander chutney. Then enjoy a creamy butter chicken or a fish curry with fragrant saffron rice, lentil fricassée and mixed vegetable pickles. A tropical seasonal fruit salad closes the meal.
Chinese: wok-tossed and glazed
Crunchy, savoury and lightly sweet.
Start with a crispy chicken salad and Thai sweet chilli sauce. Then choose a steamed fish fillet with teriyaki sauce or a honey-glazed chicken leg sprinkled with sesame seeds, both with garlicky wok-tossed crunchy vegetables and steamed nori rice. Finish light with grass jelly and fresh fruits.
Mediterranean: sunny flavours
Fresh, herby and easy to love.
Begin with a tomato and feta bruschetta marinated with oregano. Then choose a Provençal-style chicken leg with seasonal vegetables and herb-infused rice, or a fish fillet steamed en papillote with julienne vegetables, curry-leaf rice and a fresh virgin sauce. End with a chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream.
BBQ: straight from the grill
Smoky, juicy and made for a day outdoors.
Start with a Greek salad with olives, feta and oregano. Then choose Cajun chicken skewers with sautéed herb potatoes, a fresh garden salad and barbecue sauce, or a roasted fish fillet with lime, layered seasonal vegetables, herb rice and lemon butter sauce. Roasted apples with salted butter caramel and vanilla ice cream finish it sweetly.
Vegetarian: colourful and full of flavour
Plant-based, hearty and satisfying.
Begin with crispy vegetable fritters and coriander chutney. Then choose a spiced vegetable curry with coriander-scented basmati rice, dholl fricassée, tomato chutney and pickles, or chargrilled vegetable skewers with Provençal sauce, basmati rice and Niçoise ratatouille. A fresh tropical fruit salad ends the meal.
Biryani: a feast to share (minimum 25 guests)
Aromatic rice with all the trimmings, perfect for groups.
Start with assorted local fritters: samosas and chilli bites. Then enjoy a chicken or vegetarian biryani with crispy appalam, cooling raita, mixed pickles, green chilli paste, sliced onions, plain yoghurt, fresh salad and condiments. Finish with creamy tapioca pearls in coconut milk.
