A tandem jump, a real adrenaline rush
Let yourself be tempted by a tandem parachute jump: a real adrenaline rush and a moment of magic that will stay engraved in your memory forever. On arrival, a team takes care of you, briefs you for about fifteen minutes, and helps you into your jump suit and safety harness.
The stages of your tandem jump are explained to you, along with the positions to adopt during this unique experience: the climb in the plane, the exit and the free fall, the flight under the canopy and, of course, the landing.
Then you fly to the sky. A comfortable 20-minute flight to altitude gives you unrivalled, uninterrupted views of Mauritius on the way up to 10,000 feet, the skydive altitude.
Good to know
No experience needed: in a tandem jump you are attached to a licensed Tandem Master, so first-time skydivers need no hours of training.
A long, gentle finish: after the free fall, the canopy ride lasts about 3 to 5 minutes, long enough to admire the coast and land smoothly.
A view of the north-east: from the sky you can see the lagoon of Roches Noires and Amber Island, set among the turquoise water of the coast.
A private airstrip: you take off from a private grass airstrip, set among the sugarcane fields of the north-east.

The briefing
A 5-minute video explains each stage: the plane ride, the exit, the free fall, the parachute opening and the landing. Then you put on your jump suit and safety harness, and you are ready to board.

The climb to altitude

The parachute
Your instructor opens the parachute. After the rush of the free fall, enjoy a smooth canopy ride, then land safely on the runway following your Tandem Master's instructions.

Before you book
The minimum age is 15 years old, and one parent must be present if you are under 18. Your weight must be between 40 and 95 kg, and you need reasonable physical and mental condition. Your jump depends on the weather and on slot availability, so we recommend early-morning slots and booking at the start of your stay. If you have been scuba diving, leave a 24-hour gap before you jump. Please read the Conditions before you book.
Getting there
The skydive meets at the Mon Loisir Sugar Estate in Rivière du Rempart, in the north-east of the island. We confirm your jump time after booking. Transport is not included in the excursion price, but you can add a private return transfer from your accommodation in the Extras section when you book:
