An enchanting evening on the north coast

Spend an evening on the water with a sunset catamaran cruise along the north coast of Mauritius. Setting off at 5:00 pm, this relaxing 2-hour cruise blends serenity and island charm as you sail across the calm lagoon and watch the sun dip below the horizon.

Canapés and refreshing drinks are served on board while you take in the golden colours of the sunset and the gentle rhythm of the waves. The atmosphere is lively yet peaceful, ideal for couples, friends and families who want to unwind and capture unforgettable views of the coastline from the sea.

You are back on shore at 7:00 pm, with the memory of a truly enchanting Mauritian sunset.

Good to know

Sunset all year round: in Grand Baie the sun sets from about 5:40 pm in June to nearly 7:00 pm in January, so the sunset always falls within your 5:00 to 7:00 pm cruise.

A short show: in Mauritius the sun takes only about 25 minutes to set, so be at the beach on time to enjoy all of it.

Evenings at sea: it can feel cooler on the water once the sun goes down, so a light layer is a good idea.

Getting there

Your evening starts from your accommodation, and the catamaran boards at Grand Bay Beach. Transport is not included in the excursion price, but you can add a private return transfer in the Extras section when you book:

3 to 11 years old: child rate applies
12 years old and above: adult rate applies

Transportation

Transportation is not included in the excursion price. Rates exclude transfer, and you can add a private return transfer in the Extras section when you book.

Waiting time and delays: Transfer arrangements are based on the confirmed excursion schedule and expected service duration. If additional waiting time is required due to circumstances beyond the control of Etnika Travel and its driver, an additional charge may apply. This may include:

Extended activity duration
Late departure by guests
Delays at the excursion venue
Traffic conditions or other unforeseen circumstances

Cancellation policy

If the excursion is cancelled by the local authorities or because of weather conditions, it will be rescheduled for the following days or replaced by another tour. If bad weather persists, you will be refunded the entire amount before your departure.

If you cancel

7 days before the excursion date: 100% refund
72 hours before the excursion date: cancellation penalty of 75% of the cost of the excursion
Less than 72 hours before: cancellation penalty of 100% of the cost of the excursion
Day of the excursion or no-show: cancellation penalty of 100% of the cost of the excursion

Safety and other conditions

For safety, weather or sea conditions, the skipper may change the route, the order of the stops or the timings
Pick-up times are confirmed after booking. Guests must be ready on time, and late arrival or no-show is treated as a cancellation on the day
Guests must be in good health and follow the crew's instructions, and children must be supervised by an adult. Pregnant guests and guests with medical conditions should check with us before booking
Please tell us about any allergies or dietary needs when you book
Etnika Travel is not responsible for lost or damaged belongings, and we recommend travel insurance

Full payment is due upon confirmation of booking, and an invoice will be sent accordingly
All banking charges are paid by the client
If payment is not received before the excursion date (conditions apply), the booking will be invalid
